I wonder if the Supreme’s decision to not review the Texas redistricting case gives us a hint as to how they will rule on Vieth the currently pending case about partisan gerrymandering. See this for more on that.

I think the Court will decide that partisan gerrymandering is non-justiciable.

  • I wouldn’t be that quick to say they’ll call it a political question. (Even though they should) Remember, our ol’ pal Earl Warren said the most important case he was involved in was Baker v. Carr. (not Miranda, Gideon, Brown v Board of Ed…etc)…Brian
