The Rolling Stone Story About Brian Kemp is a Nothing Burger

The leftwing publication Rolling Stone has obtained undercover video of Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp talking about the absentee ballots generated by his rival’s gubernatorial campaign. In the video, Kemp says that “They have just an unprecedented number of [absentee ballots which is something that continues to concern us, especially if everybody uses and exercises their right to vote, which they absolutely can, and mail those ballots in, we gotta have heavy turnout to offset that.”

The left is pushing a story that Kemp is trying to suppress the vote. They have no evidence of this, but they are trying to build that case nonetheless. I actually think they are suppressing their own voters by telling them their vote won’t matter.

Nonetheless, Kemp was responding to a question at a campaign event about what his campaign is seeing from the other side’s get out the vote effort. Both campaigns monitor the absentee ballots, etc. of the other side. This is normal and Kemp’s response was normal.

What is not normal is the forced paranoia of Democrats trying to conjure a story up that Kemp is stealing the election merely by being the lawfully elected Secretary of State. It is not true no matter how much they say it is and all it will do is provide a convenient excuse to their donors when they lose.
