Delta wants H.B.170, the transportation tax increase to pass the State House. They also do not want the religious liberty legislation passed. And beyond that, they want their fuel tax credit kept. This is a no brainer.
Delta wants everyone else’s taxes to go up while preserving its tax credit. Earl Ehrhart is absolutely right. If Delta wants H.B.170 to pass and the transportation tax to go up, it needs to sacrifice its tax credit to help mitigate the increase.
That’s a no brainer.
If the House is going to pass H.B.170, it needs to get rid of Delta’s tax credit and lower the rate of increase in the conversion from sales to excise tax.
