Coining a New Word: Envirogelicals

I am coining a new word. Of course, as there are no new ideas under the sun, someone somewhere else may have already said it.

But otherwise, I’m going with Envirogelical. It is a noun. It is a person who treats the environment as their religion and goes forth in a quasi-religious attempt to save the world as a result of their fervently held environmental religious beliefs.

Tom Steyer is an envirogelical. Al Gore is too. Much of the activist left and Democratic donors are made up of evnirogelicals.

They’ve traded worship of the Creator for worship of creation itself.
