Raising Republicans

Things like this only serve the cause of creating a new generation turned against the left.

After 90 years in San Francisco high schools, the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps must go, the San Francisco school board decided Tuesday night.

The board voted 4-2 to eliminate the popular program, phasing it out over two years.

Dozens of JROTC cadets at the board meeting burst into tears or covered their faces after the votes were cast.

And let’s remember our new Speaker is from San Francisco.

  • Tonight, we watched on CSPAN the interview of the 44 members of the Blue Dog Democrat Caucus. I feel that we are too caught up in Republican vs Democrat, and from listening to these members in the House it seems that they mean well for the United States. We have got to quit this divisiveness because it is not helping our Country.

There will always be leftist in both parties, the neocons that orchestrated the invasion of Iraq are part of the left that left the Democrat party when President Carter leaned toward isolationism. I prefer to have politicians that are honest, and would like to see campaign reform that takes lobbying out of the process. That would help solve much of this big government running huge deficits.

If Nancy Pelosi lived in Georgia, she would probably become a Republican to get into politics. Just like Governor Perdue left the Democrat Party to move to the party of what is happening now in the South. People interested in making a living in politics go with the party in power to get a job. A person with real principle is rare indeed. It is too bad about the Communist that voted the ROTC out, and hopefully more reasoned minds will get this over turned.
