I sat through a 15 minute sermon in which scripture was quoted exactly zero times. And the Preacher referred to Christ’s resurrection as something that happens over and over, as opposed to it happening that one time and his death that once being enough for all of us.

Oh, and he referred to the gift of the resurrection as “resurrection candy” and when the candy dispenser is emptied it refills itself. I guess the resurrection candy just isn’t as sufficient as the loaves and fishes with which Christ fed so many. Apparently, unlike this “resurrection candy” the loaves and fishes were never fully used up thereby requiring replenishment.

Not that I expected anything else from the same preacher who once said Christ “supposedly” cast a demon out of man.

Nonetheless, Happy Easter.
