Our front porch lights short circuited a while back. One went. A few months later the other went. We’ve done nothing about them for about a year. We’ve just done without.

Finally, I decided to surprise Christy. After work today I made a mad dash to Lowes, got two new lights, and proceeded to install them. I’m quite impressed with myself.

Now, I prayed mightily that I would not electrocute myself in the process. It appears the good Lord answered my prayers. And just as night fell on Macon, we had working lights out front. They look really good. And I am so darn impressed with myself.

  • I must agree. The warm glow from the newly-installed lights is absolutely beautiful. Thank you, Erick, for providing light, security, and comfort by your hard work to replace the fixtures. I love you!
