Stonewalling at the New York Times

This is a very interesting read, particularly the part about not being able to discuss details because the details and timing of when the details were acquired would reveal the sources. It makes you wonder who the sources were.

Rightly or wrongly, it is a very intriguing story balancing the civil liberty interests of citizens with national security interests. I’d imagine it’d make it a fun time to be a reporter, but just not one at the New York Times.
