Mark Kilmer, over at RedState, has been doing diligent coverage of the PBS story. The gist is that liberals are angry that conservatives are trying to make PBS left of a lefty talk fest.

The Washington Post is angry. It seems they see the Republican majority as determined to reshape PBS, that bastion of independent thought, into a party organ. I sympathize, to that extent; after all, the market is rejecting their little message. (The link, if you can’t access because of subscription concerns, is a Chicago Tribune piece questioning whether it is a good thing that Air America is back in the Windy City, on “a weak [2,500 watts], daytime-only station based in Crystal Lake.”)
