PLANS to re-enact the Battle of Trafalgar on its 200th anniversary have been sunk — for fear of offending the French.

The Queen will watch a battle staged off Southsea, Hants, to mark Nelson’s 1805 victory over the Franco-Spanish fleet.

But the maritime clash on June 28 will now be fought between a Red and a Blue Fleet — not a British and a French one.
