23 Left


Christy and I were discussing World War I the other night as I got her to watch WWI In Color with me. It was on the History Channel. We were discussing whether any were still alive. There are 23 left in Britain:

Four of the 23 known surviving veterans of the First World War have led a service commemorating the 90th anniversary of the conflict’s outbreak.
